About the Thule Hitch Extender
The Thule Hitch Extender provides clearance for spare tires, barn doors and tailgates when using a hitch bike carrier. This hitch extender has a two-position extension, 7" and 9", clearing spare tires and allowing for use of platform and hanging hitch carriers.
