The Castelli Free Aero RC Bib Shorts are Castelli's top race shorts yet it's comfortable to wear without lining up at the start line. The original Free Aero Race Bib Shorts have been a staple for the last 15 years and has been a part of many race day wins from Tours de France, Giri d'Italia, San Remo and Vuelta. This bib short does everything well and it starts with a well-constructed pad and surrounds it with a supportive short with good muscle compression and that's it, remove everything else. It's a Free feeling because it's constructed of only 5 panels compared to the 10 in the first design of the Free Aero. There are two densities of foam in the Progetto X2 Air seamless seat pad, 1 made of foam plus gel pads to provide progressive dampening and a separate Skin Care Layer that is soft and stretchy to move with you.
