Whitetail Mountain Resort

Around a two-hour drive from Falls Church, Whitetail Mountain is one of the best options for winter season skiing on the weekend or on day trips for enthusiasts.

The resort includes 120 acres of skiable terrain, with 23 trails serving beginner, intermediate, and advanced skiers. There you'll enjoy multiple ski lifts, as well as a snow tubing park, rental shops, instruction, and nearby lodging and dining.
